ANDREW "SCOOTIE" RANDALL (SF/PF) Committed to Temple
Friday, 29 February 2008
Name: Andrew "Scootie" Randall
Position: SF/PF
Height: 6-6
Weight: 220
Year: 2008
Class: HS Senior
School: Communications Tech (PA)
AAU Cuttino Mobley
PPG: 19.6

Andrew is a good scoring forward.  He is a good all around player who does many things well.  He has a good frame and is quite athletic.  He's a good finisher in transition.  He also has a smooth mid range jump shot and is very proficient at the turnaround fade away from that spot.  Randall is a strong rebounder.  He handles the ball well for a forward and can also pass from the post or the perimeter.  He can hit from behind the arc, but could be a little more consistent from that range.

Game Analysis:

Philly USA All-City Basketball Classic (6/2/06)
Andrew is another good combination forward.  Early on, he displayed a sweet stroke as he knocked down a mid range jumper.  He ran the floor well and was able to score a few transition baskets.  He is a better athlete than he first appears to be.  He does a lot of things well, but perhaps none exceptional.  Randall also did a good job rebounding and received defensive MVP for his efforts.

La Salle Team Camp (6/25/06)
Andrew had a solid day.  He has a beautiful stroke from three and he buried quite a few of them (although he also struggled in that area at times).  He has a high release point on his shot which combined with his 6-5 body makes it nearly impossible to defend.  Andrew had a good day on the boards as well.  He could use some improvement on his ball handling.
