Analysis:
Jarrett is a solid guard/forward.  He is a strong transition player who finishes well and gets to the foul line a lot.  He has good athletic ability.  He does a good job of getting himself into the right position in order to score baskets.  He has a decent jumper, but overall he needs to improve his perimeter skills. His ball handling is solid, but not great.  Mann also hustles and picks up a lot of loose balls.

Game Day Analysis:
Donofrio Classic (4/5/06)

Despite being just a sophomore, Mann fit in very well with the Playaz team.  At first it appeared that all he could do was simply capitalize on his teammates good passes in transition.  Later on though, he showed the ability to knock down jumper and attack the basket.  He’s a good developing young talent and will only get better playing with this elite group of basketball players.

Donofrio Classic (4/12/06)

Mann continues to quietly have a solid tournament.  He runs the court really well and takes advantage of his skills near the hoop.  He just always seems to be in the right place and his teammates continue to find him.  Jarrett was able to get to the free throw line quite frequently in this contest.  He will need to develop his perimeter skills more to become a big time player over the next two years.  He has done an excellent job as a role player in this tournament and it’ll be interesting to see how he performs in the future when the spotlight starts shining on him.
