National Christian Academy’s Wilbur O’Neal is a big-bodied, physical post player.  He loves to bang inside the paint and is a beast on the boards.

At 6-7 he is a little undersized for a post player, but he makes up for it by outworking and out muscling the opposition.  Wilbur possesses good hands and a soft touch around the hoop.

Wilbur has also flashed some ability to play out on the wing.  He can occasionally step out and knock down a long jump shot, and his ball handling is good especially for a kid his size.  However, with his current skill set and physical ability, he is probably better suited to play in the post.

Wilbur’s recruitment has been very active and he is hearing from a variety of schools.

At this point Wilbur has offers from Charlotte, Binghamton, George Mason, Loyola (MD), Temple, St. Joe’s, Drexel and Robert Morris.

He also gave a list of his current favorites, which included George Mason, Charlotte, Binghamton and Temple.
