Earnest Ross (2009, 6-5 SG/SF)
When Dave talked to the campers, he mentioned playing with energy.  Earnest must’ve been listening because this wing player did just that.  He made plays all over the court because of his hustle.  Earnest scored some inside, ran the floor and scored in transition and rebounded well.  Most surprising perhaps was his unselfish nature.  He was often looking to get teammates involved.  Earnest can handle the ball and often looked to push the action after rebounds.  He picked off a number of passes because of his hard work too.  He did struggle from the perimeter and it looks like that may be an area he needs to improve upon.  It’s hard to complain though with the way he played in the afternoon session.

Matt Wilson (2009, 6-11 C)
We caught a game and a half of action from him.  In the second half of the morning session, we were disappointed with how quiet he was and how few touches he had.  Perhaps his teammates were more comfortable with him in the evening because they really started to look for him.  Matt is a skilled post player who moves well without the basketball.  He has good touch around the rim and was surprisingly more athletic than he first looked.  He had a nice bank shot and several dunks in the second go round.  Matt also rebounded well throughout the contest.

Kyle Gaillard (2009, 6-7 SG/SF)
Kyle is a big shooting guard.  The lefty really struggled from deep in this one.  With the number of shots he took from beyond the arc, you’d have to assume he’s normally hitting at a higher rate.  He did run the floor and had a couple of dunks.  He’s more athletic than he first appears.  Kyle is also a solid ball handler and will often use head fakes to go by the defender.

Kevin Powell (2009, 6-5 SF/PF)
Kevin showed to be a pretty versatile forward.  He battled inside quite often and scored several times from offensive rebounds.  On the wing, he showed the ability to put the ball on the floor and also knocked down a deep three pointer.  Kevin got out and ran the floor too.

Willis Hall (2009, 6-5 SG/SF)
Willis can play inside or outside like quite a few other players in this camp.  He hit a pair of three pointers in the couple games we saw.  He also proved to be a solid ball handler and he battled on the glass too.  Willis isn’t the most naturally gifted kid, but he does play pretty hard and smart.

Chris Richardson (2009, 6-8 PF/C)
Chris is a well built interior presence who plays a physical game.  He made most of his impact on the boards.  He also blocked a few shots.  He did try to take a couple jumpers and struggled with that.  Chris is most suited to play inside, but he does look to have some wing skills.

Luke Davis (2009, 5-11 PG)
Luke is a point guard with a solid handle.  He looks to pass and get his teammates involved.  He had a nice no look pass.  He can drive in either direction.  Luke went coast to coast on one play.  He missed the lone perimeter jumper that we witnessed.

Eric Mayo (2009, 6-5 SG/SF)
Eric had a couple nice finishes around the rim.  He drove to the rim for one of those and finished with a dunk on another occasion.  Eric rebounded well on both ends of the floor too.

Jaron Lane (2009, 6-4 SG/SF)
Jaron is an athletic forward who made a bunch of plays around the rim.  He had an eye opening dunk over a defender.  He’s quite strong and finished after contact one time.  He runs the floor well.  Jaron scored on an alley oop and a nice finish around the rim.  He also rebounded quite well.

K.J. Sherrill (2009, 6-6 PF)
K.J. is a wing who really plays above the rim.  He threw down dunk after dunk after dunk.  K.J. crashed the offensive glass too and had a impact there.  The rest of his game was relatively quiet though.

Chad Taylor (2009, 5-9 PG)
Chad is a quick ball handling point guard.  He got into the lane a couple times, including hitting a runner while being fouled.  He also hit a pull up three pointer off the dribble.  Chad was inconsistent from the perimeter though.

Xavier Humphrey (2009, 6-5 SG)
Xavier is a quick and athletic wing.  He didn't make too many plays in this one, but did catch our attention with an explosive dunk attempt.
