ImageSpring is the season where Juniors often begin to make a name for themselves.  One player who has played very well in April and early May is Will Adams from Imhotep Charter in Philadelphia.

Will actually began his strong play when he took on a bigger leadership role with the Panthers this past high school season.  He averaged nearly 15 points a game and led his team to the state playoffs.  Unfortunately, we only saw Will twice this past season and he played very poorly in one outing.  We haven't seen a bad game since though.

The first time we caught Will this spring at the Donofrio Classic he torched the nets for 26 points.  He then came back the next time around and dropped another 27 points.  Will carried his strong play into the Southern Invitational this past weekend as well.

The talented guard has a very pure stroke from deep.  When he gets going, he can bury three pointers in bunches.  He can pull up and shoot off the dribble.  He is also a quick ball handler who can get into the lane.  Will has displayed some pretty good athletic ability as well.  His excellent play hasn't gone unnoticed either.

Prior to the spring live period, Will had offers from Robert Morris and Central Connecticut State.  He has seen his interest increase and now owns an offer from Rider.  Several CAA schools are tracking him closely as well, including Drexel, George Mason, James Madison and Northeastern.  Will is also generating interest from Niagara, Davidson, Xavier, Rhode Island, Marshall, Hartford, La Salle and Marquette.  He has improved a significant amount already and it'll be interesting to see how much he can rise over the remainder of the AAU season.
