We continue our extensive coverage of Sunday's action at the Hoop Group Elite Camp with Part 3 of our player evaluations.

Justin Crosgile (2009, 5-11 PG/SG) committed to St. Joe's
This St. Joe’s commit got off to a bit of a slow start but looked better as the game went on.  His first time up the court the ball was tipped out of his hands, turning the ball over.  The next time down he took a deep shot but missed.  On a possession soon after this he made a great pump fake to get his man in the air and then jumped as if he was going to take a shot, but instead made a beautiful pass to an open man under the hoop.  Justin had a great no look pass later in the game as well.  He went right by his man on numerous occasions and was finishing well around the hoop.  One of these times Justin went by his man, leapt into the air and brought the ball down to go under a defenders outstretched arms.  He then converted on the other side of the rim with a reverse lay-up.  Justin took a couple other jump shots in the game.  He hit a mid range jumper but badly missed a deeper shot with a man right in his face.  His shot selection could have been better in the game.  On defense Justin blocked a shot, but let his man get by him too often.

Kyrie Sutton (2008, 6-9 PF/C)
It was curious to see Kyrie at this event seeing as he had recently committed to St. Peter’s.  However he revealed at the camp that he had reopened his recruitment and was here in order to gain more exposure before making his final decision.  In the game we saw Kyrie he started off by grabbing a rebound and scoring on a put back.  He then struggled a bit on his next couple touches, badly missing a post shot and another mid range jumper.  Kyrie did make a nice spin move to get by his defender, but he lost the ball on the way up resulting in a turnover.  He did manage to score on another put back and an open lay-up later in the game.  Kyrie did look like he could handle the ball some, as he dribbled the ball up the court on a break and found an open man.  I was expecting more out of Kyrie production wise, but this big man definitely has a big upside.

George Harper (2010, 6-7 PF)
This was an impressive outing for George, even though most of his points came right around the hoop.  Early on he drove down the middle of the lane, and then adjusted mid air to avoid a defender and hit the lay-in.  From the post George made a spin move going away from the hoop and hit a turn around jumper.  George also showed he could beat his man off the dribble.  He crossed his man up and finished with a finger roll.  After grabbing a rebound he took the ball up strong right over a defender and slapped both his hands on the glass banking in the lay-up George scored on at least one more put back.

Yao Sithole (2009, 6-4 SF)
Yao finished strong around the hoop when we saw him, including his first 4 buckets.  He had one nice baseline drive but he was fouled and did not convert.  He did hit the ensuing free throw.

Ameer Brown (2009, 6-4 SG)
Ameer hit a couple jump shots when we saw him, including one out behind the arc.  He also scored on a put back off an offensive rebound.  Aaron did have the ball poked away from him while dribbling on more than one occasion.

Tywon Clark (2009, 6-3 SG)
Tywon showed some quickness off the dribble to get by his man and even displayed a beautiful spin move.  He also made a couple good passes including one from just inside the three point line to a man under the hoop on the opposite side for an easy lay-up.  Another one of his scores came off a put back.

Jon Marsh (2008, 6-0 PG)
This speedy guard displayed excellent court vision, making numerous quality passes.  On one such pass he dribbled through the defense on his way to the hoop, he then made a no look pass resulting in an easy lay-up.  Marsh had one really nice drive, where he blew by his man and then banked in a shot high off the glass to avoid a shot block attempt.  Defensively Marsh showed quick hands, tipping a couple passes away.

Raven Barber (2009, 6-6 PF)
Raven did not get a ton of touches in this game but he did look impressive when he did get the ball.  His best play of the game came off a spin move in the post.  Right out of the spin he shot the ball with one hand and hit nothing but the bottom of the net.  He also scored on a mid range jumper.  Defensively Raven blocked a shot or two and did a nice job on the boards.

Edward Hall (2009, 6-6 PF)
Hall caught our attention right away by blocking a shot and followed that up by taking the ball strong to the hoop and finishing while being fouled.  He used his body well to shield off the defender.

Stephen Spinella (2009, 6-5 SF/PF)
This long lanky forward has a nice skill set.  He handles the ball well and has a smooth pull up jump shot with a high release point.  Spinella grabbed a couple boards and scored on a put back off an offensive rebound and was fouled on the play.

Ryan Duffy (2009, 6-5 SG)
Duffy has a smooth jumper and knocked down 3 mid to long-range shots in the game we watched.  He also scored from the charity stripe hitting 1 out of 2 free throws.

Mark Cisco (2009, 6-8 PF)
Cisco did a nice job of scoring around the hoop when we saw him.  He had a pair lay-ups coming from the left hand side but put the ball in on the right side of the hoop with his right hand.  He hit another lay-up in traffic with contact on the play.

Markese Tucker (2010, 6-5 PF)
Markese hit a couple lay-ups in traffic.  On one fast break he showed some athletic ability going up for a dunk but the ball bounced off the back of the rim on this failed attempt.

Trevor Cooney (2011, 6-2 SG)
This was not a great game for Trevor.  He missed a dunk in similar fashion to Markese Tucker and couldn’t convert on a free throw attempt.  He did hit a deep jumper later in the game and he also made a nice midair adjustment to score around a defender on the break.

Tyler Young (2009, 6-6 SF/PF)
Tyler did a great job on the boards in this game and scored one basket by tipping in a teammates miss and another on a put back.  He also scored on a running one hand shot off the glass and a lay-in where he went under a defenders outstretched arm.  He attempted a couple jump shots but could not convert.  He air balled one fall away jump shot attempt.  On the defensive end Tyler had a pair of blocked shots.

Winston Graham (2009, 6-2 SG)
Winston struggled in the game we watched him.  He hit a couple jump shots but badly missed on another attempt.  He showed he could drive the ball some but failed to convert when he got to the hoop.  Winston did score out on the fast break on once occasion.
