The final session of the Hoop Group Elite camp during the live period really got rolling on Tuesday night. Top players from the region were on hand. Here are a few of the standout players.

Anali Okoloji (2009, 6-7 SF/PF)
This big wing has an impressive all around game. Since he's not on the AAU circuit much, it was a rare chance for CAA Insider to see Anali. He can play outside or inside. On the wing, Anali hit a pull up jumper and had a couple nice drives to the rim. He had a short drive inside and banked home a shot in the post. He also scored around the rim for an old fashioned three point play. Anali got out and ran the floor too and showed some athletic ability on a dunk. He was strong on the defensive end as well. He blocked a shot and forced a turnover with aggressive defense. All in all it was a fine showing for this gifted player.

Isaiah Epps (2010, 6-2 PG/SG)
This quick and smooth lefty is one of the top players at the event. Isaiah gets into the lane with ease and loves to distribute the ball when doing so. He had several outstanding passes throughout the game. Few people possess a better pull up game too. Isaiah stopped and popped time and the time again. The most impressive of those type of shots was on the right side (off hand) while he was falling away from the rim. Isaiah has great hands which were on display when he grabbed a couple rebounds.

Isaiah Philmore (2009, 6-7 210 SF/PF)
Isaiah is another gifted wing who is quite versatile. He was most impressive when attacking off the dribble in this one. He had several fine drives, including a reverse finish. He drew a foul on another play and hit a free throw. Isaiah got his teammates involved a little too when he made a fine pass from the mid post area to a teammate standing underneath the rim. He had an athletic finish on the break, blocked a few shots and grabbed some rebounds too.

Erique Gumbs (2009, 6-8 PF/C)
With Towson head boss Pat Kennedy looking on, Erique put together a fine outing. The big man looks like he has trimmed down since we last watched him closely over the winter. He has added even more quickness to his game in the low post. Erique had several impressive plays inside, including a quick spin and bank. He used another spin move to draw a foul. He followed that by hitting one of two free throws. Erique has great hands and he pulled down several boards. He struggled as he missed a couple face up jumpers though. Overall, he didn't disappoint.

Ferguson Myrick (2009, 6-6 SF)
Ferg had a strong outing. He was very impressive from the outside as he knocked down several deep jumpers. He was effective off the bounce too and had a scoop finish along the way. Ferg ran the floor and scored in transition.

CJ Aiken (2010, 6-8 PF)
This big guy looks to be getting better. CJ showed some nice face up skills that we hadn't seen much of in the past. He hit a pull up jumper from about 10 feet and was fouled on another shot from approximately the same distance. CJ showed he can handle the ball a little. We'd really like to see him work the post though and show a couple back to the basket moves, but they were absent on this day. The athletic big man did block a shot and grab a few boards. CJ still needs to get stronger. Progress is being made though.

Paul Miller (2009, 6-2 PG)
Paul had a nice pass on the break. The lefty hit a pull up 10 foot jumper. He drew a few fouls, including one in transition and one in a standard half court set. Paul did miss shots a few times when driving, once following his own miss. He is an okay ball handler, but doesn't change directions much and could improve his quickness in that area.

Josh Malone (2009, 6-4 SG)
Josh made a couple plays. The wing possesses good size. He scored several times in transition. He also banked home a jumper from the mid range area. He missed on a few other shots from the outside though. Josh is a decent ball handler, but that's an area he could improve upon.

Brandon Romain (2008, 6-2 SG)
This bouncy guard made some plays. He's great on the break and scored several transition baskets. Brandon can attack off the bounce and in half court sets as well. The lefty had a nice drive and finish and dished the ball off after breaking down the defense on another play. He struggled from the perimeter though as he missed several pull up jumpers.

Jakarri McCallop (2009, 6-5 SF)
Tuesday was a second strong outing for this Connecticut native. The versatile forward really worked inside. Jakarri banked home three shots from the post early on. He then showed what he can do on the perimeter. He ran the floor and scored in transition. He also hit on a mid range pull up jumper. Jakarri made a fine pass and blocked a shot too.

Adam Johnson (2009, 6-6 SF)
Adam wasn't quite as dominant as on Monday, but was still solid. He made his mark with several strong passes, including one on the break. He looked to push the ball after a couple boards. He was somewhat quiet on the scoring end though. Adam missed a jumper and was blocked when taking it to the rack. It's still be a nice week though for this relative unknown.

Will Adams (2009, 6-3 SG)
Will had a solid outing attacking off the bounce. He drew several fouls while doing so. He also dished out a fine pass while on the break. We only did get to see half a game and Will's outside attempts were limited.

Tom Hart (2009, 6-8 PF/C)
This skilled big man did a good job on the interior. He's capable of getting positioning and seals off well in the post. He's able to fend off defenders as he showed when scoring twice with contact. On one occasion, Tom had a short drive across the lane and hit a hook shot. He drew another foul on the inside. He showed good hands and grabbed a couple boards. Tom also had a nice pass out of the post in this solid outing.

Jerrell Lawrence (2008, 6-3 SG)
This thin guard loves attacking the hoop. Jerrell is super quick and gets into the lane with ease. The slasher was effective attacking, but also a little erratic at times. He scored and drew a couple fouls. Jerrell turned the ball over and missed a couple runners though. He was quiet from the perimeter as well.

Derrick Randall (2011, 6-8 PF/C)
This young big man really stood out. He's got impressive size and some quickness to go with it. Derrick finished inside on a few plays, including a banked shot. The lefty crashed the offensive boards and had a couple put backs. He rebounded on the defensive end too. Derrick is pretty athletic and blocked a shot as well. He has a bright future ahead of him.

Josh Heyliger (2012, 5-11 PG)
Just a rising freshman, Josh is a player we're bound to hear a lot from in the future. The lead guard is a very quick ball handler. He already makes plays when going at the rim. He opened with a flurry as he converted a runner and scored in transition. Josh hit a couple pull up jumpers, including one which appeared to be very difficult. He was streaky from the outside though and really struggled finishing consistently in the lane. With time, Josh will be converting those runners and jumpers with ease. He more than held his own on this day.

Rayner Moquete (2009, 6-1 PG)
This is certainly the best we've seen from Rayner. He looked more aggressive than in the past and made plays going to the rim. He had a nice drive and dish play and drew a couple fouls when attacking off the dribble. Rayner isn't super quick, but is fluid and he attacks straight ahead.

Joey Gripper (2011, 6-0 PG)
Joey made a few plays driving to the rim. He had a nice runner in the lane and as usual dished off for an assist. He didn't have much of a chance to make plays running with a talented team.
