Conestoga big man Jake Cohen has really been playing well this summer, and his strong play is garnering him looks from some top-flight schools.

At 6-10 Jake has ideal size to play inside but he does need to get stronger to battle on the inside at the next level.

Around the hoop Jake has soft touch and is outstanding on the glass.  From the post he can knock down a hook shot over his defender or he can go around his man with a quick spin move.  He establishes good position in the post and has solid footwork as well.

Jake also does a nice job of running the floor and can score cutting to the hoop off the ball.  Defensively he uses his height and length to block shots.

Jake’s size and skills are really intriguing coaches from all over the country.

He had already been hearing from James Madison, La Salle, Penn, William & Mary, Arizona State, Michigan, Northwestern and Penn State.

Recently we received an update on Jake from his coach at Conestoga Mike Troy.  Coach Troy informed us that a number of schools have now offered Jake.

Stanford, Davidson, Penn State, Drake, Bucknell and Lafayette have all offered.  If Jake continues his strong play, expect even more offers to roll in for him.
