Senior Wyatt Smith is a talented wing player out of John Carroll High School in Bel Air, Maryland.

Wyatt has good size to play out in the wing, and can score from the perimeter or on the inside.  He handles the ball well and can attack the hoop off the bounce.

While Wyatt does have good range on his jump shot, including out beyond the three point line, he could be a bit more consistent shooting the ball.  With his size he is also very effective on the glass.

CAA Insider recently got in touch with Wyatt to get an update on his recruitment.  Previously Wyatt was listed with interest from, Delaware, George Mason, Loyola (MD), Rider, Siena, Central Florida and Southern Methodist.

Here is what Wyatt had to say about his current recruitment:

“I’m currently looking at, St. Francis (PA), Tennessee Chattanooga, Rhode Island, Towson, and Coppin State.”

He also informed us that he currently holds one scholarship offer and that is from Tennessee Chattanooga.  While Rhode Island has yet to offer, Wyatt lists them as his current favorite.

Wyatt has two upcoming visits planned, one to Rhode Island and the other to Tennessee Chattanooga.  He went on an unofficial visit to Towson last year.

We will keep you updated on any further developments in Wyatt’s recruitment.
