We recently caught up with St. Anthony's big man Madut Bol to find out about the current state of his recruitment.  If the name looks familiar it is probably because Madut is the son of former NBA player Manute Bol.

Madut is a long, thin post player that is somewhat raw on the offensive end.  His touch needs improvement around the hoop and he needs to learn to protect the ball better to avoid getting stripped.  Like many young big men he needs to add strength as well.

Madut does however have a lot of potential.  He is athletic and very active on the glass.  Defensively he is a shot blocking threat and alters a lot of shots that he can not quite get his hands on.  He also possesses a good set of hands for catching passes in the post and rebounding.

When we spoke to Madut he informed us that his list of schools has not changed in awhile, but here is the list of schools that were last involved.

Virginia Tech, Manhattan, Siena, Rhode Island, Buffalo, Penn State ,Rider, Holy Cross, Robert Morris, Auburn and Division-II Tiffin University.

With his length, athletic ability and NBA blood line, Madut should see his recruiting interest pick up more as this high school season progresses.  We will keep you updated on any further developments in his recruiting process.
