Updates on two Maryland players

Yesterday I got in touch with two prospects to ask them about the current state or their recruitment.

First I was able to reach senior Christian Webster out of the Landon School in Bethesda, Maryland.  Christian is a 6-5 small forward and plays with the DC Assault on the AAU circuit.

The second player I was able to contact was Fairmont Heights High School guard Chaune Duffy.  Chaune also plays for a DC based AAU squad but he runs with the DC Blue Devils.

Both of these players are receiving interest from a variety of different schools.

Here is what Christian Webster had to say about his recruiting situation.

“Right now my recruitment is all over the place. A lot of ivy league schools are in the mix like Harvard and Columbia.  I have an offer from American.   Other high/mid majors are involved but haven't offered.”

Christian also let us know that he took a visit to American, but at this time he does not have any favorites and is wide open to any schools.

Chaune Duffy has quite a list of schools involved with him as well.  At this time he is looking at South Florida, Xavier, George Mason, Temple, Quinnipiac, South Carolina State, Mount St. Mary's, Robert Morris and Central Connecticut State.

When we asked him if he had any current favorites Chaune listed Quinnipiac, Xavier and Robert Morris as the schools leading for his services.
