According to a multiple sources, including our friends over at NorthStarBasketball.com and NJHoops.com , there are 4 players who have recently made their college choices.

Cameron Gunter , Brian Voelkel , Wilbur O'Neal and Scott Eatherton have all reportedly made verbal commitments.

Cameron Gunter is a wiry but athletic forward.  He has good hands and a soft touch around the hoop.  On the defensive end he is a shot blocking threat.  When we last got an update on Cameron in late August he had already taken unofficial visits to Penn, Drexel and UMBC, and was contemplating visits to Holy Cross and Northeastern.  In addition to these schools he also had interest from Cornell, Princeton, Iona and West Chester (D-II).  It is now being reported that Cameron has made up his mind and will playing in the Ivy League as he has committed to Penn.

Shortly after we got an update on Cameron Gunter back in August we also got in contact with Brian Voelkel out of Iona Prep in New Rochelle NY.  At that time Brian informed us that he had offers from Robert Morris, Manhattan, Vermont, New Hampshire, Stony brook, Canisius and Central Connecticut State.  He has now decided that he will be headed to Vermont to play for the Catamounts.

Originally Wilbur O'Neal was a 2008 prospect coming out of High School, but after playing last year at Blinn College in Texas he will be playing for Harcum College in Pennsylvania this season as a 2010 prospect.  Coming out of High School Wilbur was already a powerful, well built forward, who was a beast on the boards and showed good touch around the hoop.  If he has improved on his game at all he should be an outstanding player in the NEC as he is reportedly heading to Robert Morris.

The last player to commit is Scott Eatherton out of Hershey High School in Pennsylvania.  Scott has reportedly chosen St. Francis (PA) as his college destination for 2010.  Scott also had interest from NJIT, Quinnipiac and Division-II Stone Hill College.
