At the National Prep Showcase in Connecticut there were a number of players who really had big time performances. Yann Charles was 1 of those players whose game really stood out.

We were able to catch Yann twice at the National Prep showcase and both times he impressed.  In both games he showed that he could play inside or step out behind the arc and knock down jump shots.  He also displayed strength and athleticism.

After his strong performances we wanted to check in with Yann to see what kind of school looks he was getting.

Yann informed us that he currently has interest from Canisius, Eastern Kentucky, New Mexico State, Robert Morris and Long Island, with Canisius and Eastern Kentucky already extending scholarship offers.

When prompted for his current favorite he told us that Eastern Kentucky was his current number 1.  Yann also let us know that he was planning to visit Eastern Kentucky first and then Long Island after that.

More teams are sure to get involved in his recruitment if he continues to play at the level he did at the National Prep Showcase.
