Pittsburgh Post-Gazette: Robert Morris star guard Karon Abraham has been suspended for the 2011-12 basketball season after his involvement in two alcohol-related incidents in less than six months, the university announced this afternoon.

Abraham, 19 of Paterson, N.J., was charged April 23 with underage drinking, less than three weeks after entering a diversion program for a November DUI arrest. Abraham will be a junior this fall.

Teammate Anthony Myers, who will be a sophomore next season, was also cited for underage drinking.

The university cited a "violation of athletic department policy," as cause for its suspension, according to a news release.
