Jaren Sina withdraws verbal commitment to Alabama |

 NJ.Com: When Gill St. Bernard's junior Jaren Sina gave Alabama a verbal commitment in January, two questions immediately came to mind: Did Sina, then a sophomore, commit too soon? And was Alabama and the rigors of the SEC a good fit for the guard?
The latter question will remain a mystery. The former question proved to be valid.
On Tuesday, Sina informed Crimson Tide coach Anthony Grant that he had changed his mind and won't be heading to Tuscaloosa. No harm. No foul. It was just a verbal commitment.
"He made the decision early," said Gill St. Bernard's coach and Jaren's father, Mergin Sina. "He never went through the recruiting process. We went there a few times and every time he came back with a different feeling."
