Now that 2011 is in our rearview mirror and juniors now have a nice sampling of games to be evaluated it is time to update our 2013 Recruit Recon Top 100.

Our last update in August featured Julius Randle of Prestonwood Christian (TX) as the top ranked player in the class of 2013. After much debate we decided to jump on the bandwagon and put the super talented Jabari Parker of Simeon (IL) at the top of the rankings and move Randle to the No. 2 spot. You ultimately can not go wrong with either Parker or Randle they both could be ranked as the No. 1 player in the 2012 class. With Parker the single biggest factor in the  leap are his instincts on the defensive side of the ball. I do believe that we are in the minority in believing that it is a neck and neck race for that top spot and we look forward to being courtside for some skills camps this summer where they will have one last chance to go to work in the same venue.

Not far behind the top two falls the shot blocking machine out of Tilton (NH), Nerlens Noel. The big man is an intimidator on the court forcing anyone attempting to penetrate the lane to regret the decision. The next spot belongs to the athletic Troy Williams out of Phoebus (VA) followed by the best guard in the class Andrew Harrison of Fort Bend Travis (TX).

Rounding out the top ten are Aaron Gordon of Archbishop Mitty (CA), Chris Walker of Holmes County (FL), Kasey Hill of Montverde Academy (FL), Johnathan Williams of Southwind (TN) and the newest addition to the top ten BeeJay Anya of DeMatha (MD).

All evaluations and rankings are provided by N.D. Kendrick based on skill set measuring and statistical analysis. N.D.
