Now that the high school season is over and seniors are wrapping up their careers by playing in a variety of different All-Star games, we figured it was about time for us to put a bow on our 2012 Recruit Recon Top 100.

Our last update in January featured Shabazz Muhammad as the top ranked player in the 2012 class. With the decision of Nerlens Noel to re-classify to the 2012 class, many outlets were quick to put Noel as the top player. We don't feel that Noel is the type of game-changer that Muhammad is and quite simply put, we feel that Kyle Anderson has far too many tools that will be useful in college that we grade him out higher than Noel as well.

Since rankings are all based on opinions, this go around we reached out to a few of our close friends to get their take on who they thought stood out over the past few years and asked for their Top 5 players in the class if they were ranking today.

Scott Burgess (ChicagoHoops)- 1. Shabazz Muhammad 2. Nerlens Noel 3. Kyle Anderson 4. Alex Poythress 5. Isaiah Austin

Neal Nieves (Scout) - 1. Shabazz Muhammad 2. Kyle Anderson 3. Nerlens Noel 4. Anthony Bennett 5. Isaiah Austin

Brian Bosworth (Bosworth Hoops) - 1. Nerlens Noel 2. Shabazz Muhammad 3. Anthony Bennett 4. Kyle Anderson 5. Alex Poythress

Alex Schwartz (Northstar Basketball) - 1. Nerlens Noel 2. Shabazz Muhammad 3. Kyle Anderson 4. Steven Adams 5. Kaleb Tarczewski
