Zags Blog: Former LIU coach Jim Ferry has taken the job at Duquesne and will be replaced by associate head coach Jack Perri.

Ferry will be introduced at a press conference Thursday.

“I am truly thrilled to be named the next head men’s basketball coach at LIU Brooklyn,” said Perri, who spent a year as head coach at Division III Rhode Island College. “I am honored that both Mr. [John] Suarez [the AD] and Provost Gale Stevens Haynes have given me this tremendous opportunity to build upon what we, as a team, have already accomplished.
