Zags Blog: In its continuing quest to mine top junior college talent, Iona has landed DaSean Anderson , a 6-foot-8 small forward from LA Trade Tech in California.

Ken Hunter, the team’s assistant coach, said Anderson chose Iona over offers from St. Peter’s, Cal State-Northridge, Montana and Montana State, as well as interest from Washington State.

Anderson will have two years of eligibility remaining.

“He can do so many things at 6-8, he’s kind of like a Rudy Gay-ish player with his outside shot,” Hunter told SNY.tv. “He’s extremely athletic. He can get to the rim. He can create so many things offensively. He’s such a mismatch nightmare.
