Reading Eagle: Donovon Jack will be granted a release from his NCAA letter of intent with Duquesne, making the three-time All-State center available to all suitors - and there should be many.

Curt Jack, Donovon's father, said that Duquesne athletic director Greg Amodio informed the family Tuesday afternoon that the university would uphold its promise to release the Berks Catholic senior after his meeting with newly named head coach Jim Ferry.

Jack and his parents met Ferry, hired earlier in the week, Friday and were impressed with what they heard, according to Curt Jack.

However, after contemplating his options over the weekend Jack contacted Amodio Tuesday morning, requesting his release.

Amodio promised to send the release today.
