The Star-Ledger: Sekou Harris , who helped lead Plainfield to back-to-back Group 3 state titles, has announced his plans to attend Fairleigh Dickinson University.

Harris, a 5-11, 150-pound point guard, averaged 14.5 points and 4.5 assists per game this past winter and was named Second Team, All-State by The Star-Ledger. With Harris running the show, Plainfield made appearances in the last two Tournament of Champions, battling St. Anthony down to the wire before bowing.

Lightning quick with the ball in hands, Harris was part of a program which won four straight sectional championships and the 2011-12 Union County Tournament title for the first time since 1979. He is seventh on the school's all-time scoring list with 1,090 points.

Harris chose FDU over Florida International, Florida Atlantic, St. Peter's and Hofstra.
