NBC Sports: Iona has made a habit in recent years of capitalizing on transfers.

Mike Glover ended up with the Gaels after things didn’t work out at Seton Hall. They added Momo Jones, who will be a senior next season, when he decided to leave Arizona. And back in April, the Gaels added Tavon Sledge, a Long Island native that spent last season at Iowa State.

On Monday afternoon, Tim Cluess once again tipped his toes in that pool.

Curtis Dennis, a native of the Bronx that averaged 11.7 points and 3.3 rebounds at Toledo last season, will be joining the Gaels. The 6-foot-5 wing will be eligible to play immediately since the Rockets are banned from postseason play due to APR issues.
