Indiana Basketball Source: Alex Etherington has been one of the most improved players this spring and now he has verbally committed to Kansas State University. New coach Bruce Weber extended an offer to Etherington in April and Etherington visited Manhattan last week. He also had an offer from IPFW and interest from a host of schools. When asked what the biggest reason for his committment, "Everything about it, but the coaches sealed the deal" Etherington commented.

Etherington is a 6-6 wing from Hamilton Heights High School, who excels in the open court and when he is attacking the rim. He is a great athlete and is built like a college player already. His mid-range and outside shooting is improving at a rapid rate.
