Zags Blog: Isaiah Williams, a 6-foot-7 wing from Newark, has committed to Iona but will spend at least one year at the State College of Florida-Manatee.

Williams previously committed to Iona and then later decommitted and chose Marshall.

“Isaiah will be a tremendous addition for the Gaels,” Florida-Manatee coach Brock Erickson told SNY.tv. “His length and ability to stroke the 3 are a perfect fit for coach [Tim] Cluess‘ system.

“I believe he will have a chance to make an immediate impact and is a future all-conference player in the MAAC. Isaiah signed here last week and I already have calls from high-major schools for him.”
