Journal Sentinel: Riley Dearring, a 6-foot-5 guard from Minnetonka (Minn.) High School who is entering his senior season, on Thursday gave Wisconsin coach Bo Ryan an oral commitment for UW's 2013-'14 freshman class.

Dearring, who announced his decision via Twitter, joins La Crosse Aquinas standout Bronson Koenig in that class.

"All the blood, sweat and tears finally paid off!" Dearring tweeted. "Gotta keep working! Thanks everyone for all the support."

Dearring is playing with Net Gain Sports this week in NY2LASports.com Summer Jam at Homestead High School. He impressed the UW staff last month at the Badgers' advanced camp and again last week in another tournament at Homestead.
