Lions247: Less than a week after losing a verbal commitment, Penn State added to its 2013 class after Fort Washington (Pa.) Germantown Academy center Julian Moore committed to the Nittany Lions.

Moore camped at Penn State a little less than a month ago in late June, and picked up an offer from the Nittany Lions shortly thereafter. Giving himself a couple of weeks to think about it, the 6-foot-9, 215-pounder felt confident State College was where he wanted to be.

“I sat down with my parents and had a long talk with them last night, and we decided it would be the best fit for me academically and athletically to pursue my career,” Moore said on Friday night. “After the camp a few weeks ago and the visit, the school itself made a lasting impression on me, and I could tell that the coaching staff really wanted me.”
