Delaware Online: Terrell Rogers admitted it felt a bit odd at his recent graduation from Evelyn Mack Academy in Charlotte, N.C.

His classmates knew their college destinations and he didn’t.

Now he knows, and Rogers was happy to inform University of Delaware basketball coaches this week he’ll be headed here later this month after accepting their scholarship offer.

The 5-foot-8 point guard joins a potentially strong Blue Hen team that was seeking a possible replacement for Khalid Lewis, who started at point guard as a freshman last year but has transferred to La Salle.

Rogers, who visited UD last week, said he chose Delaware over Appalachian State, with Wyoming, Loyola-Marymount and George Washington also getting consideration.
