NERR: Quinnipiac picked up a verbal commitment from six-foot-six swingman Shackquiel Scott on Tuesday night.  

A graduate of Passaic Tech in New Jersey, Scott will spent a post-graduate year at the Robinson School before joining the Bobcats in the fall of 2013.

Scott led Passaic Tech to a record of 23-9 last year and was named second team Passaic County by the Star Ledger. 

While Scott has been on Quinnipiac's radar for several months, he made a big name for himself to start the July evaluation period with a standout performance at the Hoop Group Elite Camp.
