Could it finally be over for Tre Bowman?

The Central York graduate and former star player just announced his commitment to attend and play for Iona College in New Rochelle, N.Y. The Gaels are a member of the Metro Atlantic Conference, which includes Loyola University in Baltimore.

But this will be Bowman's fifth stop since leaving Central.

He first attended a year of prep school at the St. Thomas More School in Connecticut.

Then he signed on at Penn State, where he played sparing but promising minutes two winters ago. 

However, he was removed from the roster by new coach Pat Chambers after his involvement in a fight at an off-campus apartment in February of 2011.
