Troy Williams chooses Indiana over North Carolina
Thursday, 01 November 2012
ImageFayetteville Observer: Six months ago, small forward Troy Williams was set to announce that he'd attend North Carolina or Kentucky.

The Tar Heels already had two commitments from the Class of 2013 at that point. The number hasn't changed.

UNC was still an option for Williams until Sunday, when he committed to Indiana, and his case shows the fluid nature of recruiting. Williams' decision isn't a major setback for the Tar Heels, who are targeting several players with higher profiles, but it puts more pressure on North Carolina to land one.

Many top prospects wait until the spring to sign, so the next six months are shaping up to be anxious ones filled with uncertainty, somewhat similar to what Duke went through with the Class of 2012.
