Wagner gets more frontcourt help
Sunday, 26 May 2013
ImageSI Live: Wagner College took another step to building a frontcourt of the future Saturday by obtaining a commitment from 6-foot-7 transfer forward David Andoh, who played last season at San Jose State in the Western Athletic Conference.

He is the third frontcourt player to commit to Wagner this season. Andoh will join the Seahawk program as a redshirt sophomore and will have three seasons of playing eligibility remaining as of the fall of 2014.

Andoh decided to move on from San Jose State when eight-year head man George Nessman was let go at the end of a 9-20 season. San Jose State is jumping to the Mountain West Conference next year.

“It was stressful to go back through the process of picking a school again,” admitted Andoh, who averaged 2.3 points and 2 rebounds per game for the Spartans. “But I visited Wagner two weeks ago, and I loved the school. It’s beautiful. I like the players and the coaches, and the idea of being in New York.”
