Junior Robinson commits to Mount St. Mary’s
Wednesday, 26 June 2013
ImagePhenom Hoop Report: Sometimes it takes pursuit and a dogged approach to land a kid. Mount Saint Mary’s used just this approach with recruiting Eastern Alamance PG Junior Robinson (5’7/155).

Quick and smart, Junior loves to pressure the ball on defense and push the ball on offense. Do not get it mixed up, Junior is not a go go go type player. He plays great in the half court as well, penetrating the lane and finding open team mates and finishing with soft touch beyond the arc.

Junior feels like Mount Saint Mary’s was the perfect fit for him, ‘They helped me out a lot, mainly with school. They helped me find out what I needed to get in their program. I like the way they play, it really fits my natural play style. It is just a perfect fit.’

Junior’s father, Lamont Robinson said he loved the approach Mount Saint Mary’s used in recruiting his son, ‘They have worked relentlessly for Junior. They were not afraid to show they really wanted him. I love their staff and how they went about recruiting him. They are very professional and serious about their players, and winning.’  Lamont has always known that his son can play at a high level, and is appreciative for the opportunity.
