Roman Catholic's Rashann London Commits to Drexel
Thursday, 22 August 2013

ImageCity of Basketball Love: Drexel’s critical Class of 2014 got its first member on August 22 as Rashann London (Roman Catholic/Team Philly) chose to stay in Philadelphia for college, multiple sources tell CoBL.

“I just felt that Drexel was the best fit for me,” London told CoBL on Thursday. “It was close to home, where my family and friends can see me. That’s really what stood out the most.”

London averaged 15.3 points per game last year at Roman, the same high school that current Drexel assistant coach Bobby Jordan attended. Jordan was a former four-year Dragon walk-on who spent a year as an operations assistant at the school before being elevated to his current position last summer

“I talked to Bobby almost every day,” London said. “I really formed a good relationship with Bobby and he made me feel very comfortable.”
